This IChemE event brings together speakers from a number of different organisations to share their experience in developing and implementing process safety competence. It is to be held in York, UK.

The design, operations and maintenance of high hazard processes and equipment relies on competent persons. Understanding and implementing the requirements of competency for personnel throughout the management structure can prevent failures in management systems which can in-turn prevent major accidents from occurring.

This event brings together speakers from a number of different organisations to share their experience in developing and implementing process safety competence. It will be of particular interest to senior managers, process safety, engineering and safety professionals who are interested in improving their organisations approach to process safety.
